The Easter Bunny Lives at Our House

The Easter BunnySome people have all the luck, don’t they?

I can’t imagine why this fellow chose our forsythia bush as his domicile but there he is, come out for a bit of lunch.

Sometimes he takes a post-prandial stroll down to the tool shed, but he seems to have a spot somewhere under all those blossoms when night falls.

He told us to say “Happy Easter” to everyone. And be sure to send carrots.

[Hippity hop. That’s all.]

Does your bunny leave jelly beans for you and Baron?

Love the bunny! Thank you for the links at the 910 Blog - I am unable to leave comments there for some reason so I leave them here and thank you and Christine for the grand posts.

Happy Easter! And a glorious day we are having for it too.

"Ayyy, that's no ordinary rabbit."
"What does he do? Nibble your bum?"

sorry... I couldn't resist.

Is it a real nature one?
The only ones I ever saw in nature were grey.
Would be nice to have some white ones here.

Shahar--

He's real enough, but he is tame. A neighbor turned (two of the, I think) loose. That is kind of creepy as I'm sure the SPCA would've taken them in, esp. around this holiday.

Anyway, he set up camp in our yard, either in the forsythia or behind it in the woods.

I don't know how long he'll last against local predators: dogs, foxes, etc. Our cat just looks at him and yawns.

He's too fast to catch but we wonder if he'll manage to reproduce with the indigenous wild ones -- which are grey, and much smaller. They are just the right size for a mature black snake, but this dude is waaay too big for that.

I'm just going to enjoy him while he's here.

Nope, no jelly beans, though I did sneak one of those yukky marshmallow chicks from one child's basket.

May the coming good weather find you in fine fettle!

Thanks for the pic, and the smile, a fine looking neighbor indeed...

And then I suppose we get a ban on eating those cute little baby lambs?

Nope. I am willing to eat them, and I will pay someone else to do the dirty work. And eventually we all die, and the worms eat us.

Now tell me, do you really want to starve the worms just because of an attack of "cute"? Cute little red foxes be hungry, too.

Dymphna -

The Law will say that any animal considered 'cute' by anybody, will be protected from being food for ALL humans at ALL times, under any conditions.
