"Increasing unemployment rate has put Turkey to second-worst place in Europe..."

But Turkey has not been culturally European for more than 450 years, and it has not been, geographically, part of Europe for several millions. Wake up, Turks -- and Europeans.

I have not forgotten how Turkey revoked permission to use ground troops in our invasion of Iraq only days prior to the opening of hostilities. This was a deliberate material aid to our enemy.

Turkey is NOT our ally. Turkey is no friend of Europe either. At least until it accepts Islamic governance.

"Parliament has banished the word ‘chairman’ from its proceedings for being too sexist."

The suffix -man does not refer to the sex of the person concerned. It merely indicates that a human being is concerned in the matter. The word man is genderless.
