Happy Ramadan!

Cherif El Ayouty is a civil engineer who works in the private sector in Denmark. Originally from Egypt, he has been a Danish citizen since 1975, and supports the Danish People’s Party.

Many thanks to Hans Erling Jensen for forwarding the following essay to us.

Happy Ramadan!
by Cherif El Ayouty

The new moon that signals the beginning of Ramadan, is still one week away, but the wealth of ideas, to accommodate the many unintegrated Muslims living in the Western world during the Islamic holy month, has long been underway.

Believe it or not, there are now within Western municipalities and educational institutions a number of recommendations that aim to meet Ramadan needs of Muslim pupils in state schools. These recommendations include among others “no swimming lessons” because the ability to swallow water is very high and that must not happen during fast, “no sex education” as Muslims must avoid sexual thoughts and “rescheduling of tests and exams to a later time” as test preparations for Muslim students while fasting becomes a big challenge. Plans also include reserving a larger space for daily prayers, as Muslims become more religious during Ramadan and avoiding all parents meetings because Ramadan evenings are a very busy period for Muslim families! It is still unclear whether music classes will also be canceled because of Ramadan.

But why is it just Muslims who are to be exempted from certain activities? Why not all the students? Then Muslims would not feel worse-off than the rest of the students — or maybe vice-versa?

Such a policy of accommodation is completely insane, because it interferes with the rest of the society’s activities and is therefore completely unacceptable.

As a well-integrated Muslim with 42 years living experience in the West, I find it quite wrong that everyone at school is forced to take account of Islamic rules when these rules are irrelevant to non-Muslims, which after all constitute the overwhelming majority. Why are there not and never have been any special adjustments to meet the religious needs of Jews, Buddhists and Hindus? I am just asking!

I know that every time the authorities are accommodating and lenient towards Muslims requests for preferential treatment, the result is extremely harmful to the moderate Muslims who want to take part in their new society on an equal basis with the ethnic population, integrate themselves and secure a better life for their descendants in the West.

Why not? Well, it appears that whenever Muslims are granted even the slightest accomodation of their interminable "sensitivities" they use it as a springboard for demanding yet further concessions to their barbaric lunacy.

Fortunately, Cherif El Ayouty seems to realize this.

I know that every time the authorities are accommodating and lenient towards Muslims requests for preferential treatment, the result is extremely harmful to the moderate Muslims who want to take part in their new society on an equal basis with the ethnic population, integrate themselves and secure a better life for their descendants in the West.

Unfortunately, what Cherif El Ayouty and his fellow so-called "moderate Muslims" do not seem to grasp is that the clock is running down on them to finally begin a vigorous campaign of truncating such special deference being shown for Islamic practices.

It's all well and fine to recognize and understand how damaging these thousands of societal paper-cuts are but simply gabbling on about it won't help. Get out there, organize and be seen vociferously protesting the routine abuse of Western hospitality that far too many Muslims so freely engage in.

It's either that or being surprised when you moderate Muslim babies get thrown out with the jihadist bath water.

Just in case the point was not made with adequate clarity:

But why is it just Muslims who are to be exempted from certain activities? Why not all the students?

Even something so seemingly fair as allowing all students a similar relaxation of the rules during Ramadan would still be counter-productive.

The ultimate result would be a further legitimizing of Ramadan as some sort of national holiday which would only spur on Muslim demands to grant similar status for Mohammad's birthday and the other umpteen gazillion high holy days of Islam.

Islam's across-the-board lack of reciprocity on all issues, great and small, make it necessary to reject any accomodation of Muslim beliefs until such a time where they have demonstrated their ability to participate in a civil manner upon the global stage.

To date, nothing of the sort has ever been demonstrated by Muslims in any substantial measure and it obliges all other cultures to exclude recognition of Islamic traditions lest they be used to serve the ends of jihad as they have throughout Islam's entire history.

Two years ago, I set out to Make Sense of Ramadan.

What I know for sure is that Western politicians, priests etc. should NOT attend Ramadan or Eid celebrations!

Denying your kids food and water until late at night for a month constitute child abuse if you ask me. But of course nothing is going to happen to the abusive parents, because they’re Muslims and reprimanding Muslims in the west is a big no-no.

Anyway my advice is for everybody to be extra vigilant on the roads when taxis are approaching, as the lack of food makes Muslim taxi drivers dangerous motorists. Another good idea is to eat lots of snacks during this Ramadan especially when in the presence of Muslims to really get on their nerves.

Why not start arranging own public food festivals to coincide with Ramadan? That would be a terrific idea.

The more that government institutions accommodate Islamic rituals and prerogatives in secular situations, the more they "establish" Islam as a major religion, a violation of the First Amendment. Sharia Law provides, in section f15.18(5) of Reliance of the Traveller, that Muslims are exempt from some of their rituals if it will cause hardship. The Quran also promises to lighten the Muslims' burden in Surah 4:28. As Ayaan Hirsi Ali says in her book "Nomad," always bending to the primitive customs of Islam is a kind of racism low expectations which in the long run is harmful to Muslims in a modern society.

You know, we should be kind to these starving children and give them free food during this month.

BLT, anyone?

NorseAlchymist, that's quite an interesting idea!

Save the children from harmful religious dogma - Good.

This is just a demonstration of how the muslim can push the stupid kuffr around, and the stupid kuffr then goes to extreme lengths to justify his inate cowardice and grovels before the very idiology that will destroy him.
