Gates of Vienna News Feed 2/7/2011

Gates of Vienna News Feed 2/7/2011British Prime Minister David Cameron followed up on his declaration that Multiculturalism has failed in the UK by ordering the removal of funding from suspicious Muslim community groups. Such groups have previously received state funds in a bid to reach troubled youth and discourage them from turning to extremism, but the prime minister believes they may be soft on terrorism.

In other news, NATO has warned that European countries, especially the UK, may experience a flood of refugees from Egypt and other Muslim countries which are in the throes of violent disturbances.

@Cameron Begins Extremism Crackdown as Cash Withheld From 'Suspect Groups'.

Cameron should also give an assurance to the British peoples in Parliament that the Government are no longer invisible ink signatories to the "covenant of security" which was the foundation of the Prevent strategy.

As for clearing out the universities any monies saved from the Prevent strategy should be ring fenced for indigenous working class students the children of the people that decade upon decade financed the universities, this would not be against the conservative grain merely a demand to access the product that they have paid for - ignorant soldiers do not win battles of the mind.

I think that is the totality of his policy with regards to Islam.
